I approached wellness early in college, by practicing yoga, studying meditation and volunteering in my community. ¬†After college in 2003, I began studying meditation with Ananda Marga (path of bliss) and volunteering in Monterrey Mexico and Cambridge Massachusetts. In 2006, I moved to San Jose Costa Rica to work for The Women’s Wellbeing and Development Foundation. I practiced yoga with sexually abused teenage girls and raised money for social service projects for women around the globe. Having found a new source of inspiration, I began pursuing yoga and bodywork as a career choice.
